Service: Emergency Response Restoration

A large national bank experienced severe damage from a fire resulting in $2.9 million worth of damage in a national historic skyscraper in Philadelphia, PA. Fire, smoke, soot, and water caused damage to more than 892,000 square feet on 30 floors, impacting the bank and 48 other businesses in the building.

  • Emergency services were essential to extract water, clean, and decontaminate every crevice of the 30 floor historic building including:
  • 150,000 square feet of terrazzo marble throughout the 2 ½ story banking hall
  • ceilings and crown moldings
  • corridors, walls, offices, and furniture
  • HVAC systems
  • elevators and elevator shafts
  • architectural artwork.
  • Interstate worked day and night to expedite the project and opened the bank lobby within 10 days of the fire
  • In order to open quickly, Interstate worked with the bank and investigators by building a room around the source of the fire in the lobby, allowing customers to conduct routine business
