Giving Back and Giving Hope
Mercy Housing, a national nonprofit working to build affordable, service-enriched housing for families, seniors, and people with special needs held their Live in Hope Breakfast this past week at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver, Colorado. The Live in Hope Breakfast is a fundraising event to specifically benefit Mercy Housing’s Resident Services programming, “designed to help people living in Mercy Housing communities achieve their full potential through health and wellness, financial stability, out-of-school time, housing stability, and community involvement.”
Each year, an organization is recognized at this event for their dedication to Mercy Housing, and we are honored to report that Stacy Mazur and Interstate Restoration are the recipient of the 2016 Live in Hope Award. “At the end of the day, everyone needs to have a comfortable, safe, and stable place to call home. And when life hits us hard, it is comforting to know there are organizations like Mercy Housing who can shed light and make the seemingly impossible, possible.” said Stacy Mazur, CEO of Interstate.
As a company that thrives in a culture dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and work, this award is near and dear to our hearts. We are excited to continue our support and the admirable work and mission Mercy Housing serves, for years to come.
