CATCO Acquisition Brings More “Boots on the Ground” to Midwest Region
Strategic St. Louis and Kansas City locations will expand reach into the Midwest.
With its large geographic scope and powerful weather, the Midwest has a huge need for disaster restoration services. Not only must Midwest-based businesses deal with day-to-day mishaps and disasters, but they also face potential dangers from flooding, tornadoes, large thunderstorms and snowstorms. Given regional size and importance, Interstate is excited to announce the acquisition of St. Louis-based Catastrophe Cleaning & Restoration Co, Inc. (CATCO).
An Important Partnership and Expansion
CATCO, a full-service restoration company, has serviced the greater St. Louis and Kansas City regions since 1981. The CATCO team excels at providing professional property remediation and restoration services that serve both residential and commercial clients in the aftermath of catastrophes. Interstate chose to partner with CATCO for its excellent reputation, dedication to exceptional customer service, and strong leadership and culture. The combination of CATCO’s deep talent and restoration resources provides Interstate with a stronger presence in the Midwest, enabling us to more efficiently serve properties located in the area with local “boots on the ground.” At the same time, the partnership provides CATCO’s client base with broader service offerings and deeper capabilities through the ability to draw from Interstate’s extensive North American network.
Great Things Ahead
For the near future, CATCO will also remain an independent brand under Interstate. And throughout the transition and beyond CATCO’s president, Michael Hammack, will remain in his leadership role so we can take advantage of his industry expertise and outstanding regional knowledge. Going forward, clients of both companies can expect the same levels of outstanding service and an ongoing commitment to process innovation and always doing what’s best for our customers.
