Interstate Strengthens Southern California Presence with ASR Property Restoration Acquisition
More resources mean enhanced capabilities and innovation for the region.
In southern California the risks of natural disasters, including wildfires, mudslides, earthquakes and tsunamis, are ever-present. And the density of people and world-class businesses in the area creates a tremendous need for top-tier disaster restoration services. That’s why Interstate Restoration couldn’t be more pleased to announce the acquisition of Oxnard-based ASR Property Restoration.
Strengthening Regional Response
ASR Property Restoration, which employs approximately 80 full-time workers and was founded in 2008, performs both emergency service and rebuild work. Interstate decided to purchase ASR based on the quality of the company’s team and processes, its extensive equipment, and cultural alignment. As part of the transition, the CEO/President of ASR, Kirk Prouse, is assuming the role of Regional Director for Southern California at Interstate and will lead the efforts of further growing our presence throughout Southern California.
Adding an additional office with more resources (personnel and equipment) gives Interstate even more flexibility for responding to areawide events while delivering exceptional experiences. Interstate’s larger presence in Southern California will also enable us to continue innovating our services and building on our unique portfolio approach, which helps organizations accelerate property recovery to reduce downtime and overall claim costs.
A Smooth Transition
Now that the deal is signed, Interstate will quickly bring ASR Property Restoration into the fold. Providing customers of both companies the same great service levels during the transition and going forward is a top priority. Ultimately, the combination of our experienced teams will be key in our ability to meet the needs of the very dynamic Southern California region.
